The Indian Military Nursing Services is a part of Armed Forces Medical Services of the Indian Army, first formed under British rule in 1888. An officer in the Military Nursing Services is granted Permanent Commission or Short Service Commission by The Honourable President of India.Only Female candidate can get the admission to 4 years B.S.c(Nursing) course at Collage Of Nursing Of Armed Forces Medical Services . Female Candidates need to qualify The Indian Army BSc Nursing Entrance Examination. Female Candidates will get the admission in Collage Of Nursing of Armed Forces on the bases of vacancy in each collage, merit cum choices and the subject to medical fitness. Then selected candidates shall execute an Agreement/Bond to serve in the Military Nursing Service.

Candidate should not have less than 50% aggregate in Physics, Chemistry, Biology (Botany & Zoology) and English from a Statutory / Recognized Board /University/ Examination Body.
Candidates who will be appearing for final year of qualifying examination during the current academic session may also apply provisionally.
The candidates which are selected for the course are required to submit proof of passing the qualifying examination with requisite subjects and marks before joining the Course.
