Mitraniketan Krishi Vigyan Kendra is the Farm Science Centre of Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR) for Thiruvananthapuram District and was established in 1979 at Mitraniketan to work for transferring agricultural and allied technologies to farmers, rural youth and extension functionaries of Thiruvananthapuram district.
