National Institute of Technology Calicut is an autonomous, federally funded technical university and an institute of national importance governed by the NIT Act passed by the Parliament of India. The campus is situated near Chathamangalam, 22 kilometres north east of Kozhikode, on the Kozhikode–Mukkam Road.A walk-in-interview will be held for selection of following hostel staff, which will be purely on daily wage /adhoc basis for a period of six months as per hostel requirements and on daily wage/consolidated pay as indicated below. Selected candidates shall work in shifts during day and night as per duty timing allotted, on alternate weeks or as scheduled by hostel office as per requirements. They will not have any claim to continue the engagement in any post under NITC Hostels beyond the term of appointment.
